Conrad Schnitzler acts as the German Paul Revere on the a-side of this EP. Frankly, the title track is nicht so gut. However, the B-side is the perfect public transportation soundtrack and makes this worth a listen.
My friends are having a new radio show over at UCLA. They'll be playing tunes showcasing their favorite post-punk/new wave record labels from the 80s (Factory will be the first label featured, hence the Section 25 post) from 6-8 PM PST every Saturday evening. Tune in HERE.

Trisomie 21 - Le Repos Des Enfants Heureux Download
Impress some ladies: read Proust, drink plunger coffee, be absurd, and play this compilation featuring most recordings by this 80s French synth pop band.
Been a while since I posted some 80s music so here's an album I've been meaning to post for a very long time. Caifanes were a Mexican post-punk/new wave band. If the Cure released an album in Spanish, it would sound exactly like this.
For all of you new wave lovers, here's some 1982 Finnish synthpop.

Moderne - Moderne/L'Espionne Aimait La Musique Download
Obscure 1980-81 French synthpop double release compiling both of this band's LPs and re-issued last year. You don't just want this, you fucking need it.
This is a compilation of three Cure singles released after Pornography and the following album, The Top, in 83-84. Apparently Robert Smith spent some time in rehab and they had some line-up difficulties following the release of Pornography, explaining the drastic change in style. But these are some of my favorite Cure tracks, collecting "Let's Go To Bed", "The Walk", and "The Lovecats singles."
