Doesn't get more grim than urine soaked, bonedust covered dead genitals bathed in gall and skinned for the use of neophyte robes. No bucket full of bees guitar tone or frostbitten blast beats from the north here, just the unholiest of soundscapes.

Ouroborus doesn't abide by your black metal standards. The vocals are clean and backed by acoustic riffs that transition into 8 minute ambient tracks. Isn't deviating from the norm and alienating yourself from everyone else what BM is all about? Conversely, Drowning the Light brings the more traditional fans with its corpse paint imagery and production that sounds like it was recorded in the heart of an elven forest.
