No chaser

Mind Eraser - Glacial Reign

Download

At the Shoppers show last night some drunk girl thought Mind Eraser was that "Dave Grohl band."
Uh, no.

The Kult Starts Here

IT IS 2010 AND I AM POSTING ALBUMS FROM SOME IRRELEVANT BAND THAT BROKE UP FOUR YEARS AGO, WHAT THE FUCK? I SHOULD BE POSTING CHILLWAVE AND LO-FI OUT OF BROOKLYN.

DAS OATH

was a New York by way of the Netherlands band featuring members of Monster X, Devoid of Faith and of course Mark McCoy from the legendary Charles Bronson. They played their own style of hardcore mixed with thrash and dare I say even powerviolence? I love this fucking band: I miss their intense live shows, the tongue in cheek humor that most hardcore bands lack today, the feedback driven guitars that sound like a combination of buzzsaws and bees in a bucket, and McCoy's half mongoloid yells. Yeah, I know Failures are around but it isn't the same as DAS OATH.

The Oath+Total Fury (2002)

Download.

"Five songs from both best bands in the world including each doing a cover of the other’s most definitive anthems (that ironically, no one can actually sing along to). Just be forewarned this is an insanely overpriced record with artwork that unquestionably sucks. The one thing that CAN be said for this is exactly what you’d tell a forty year old virgin: hurry up and just pay for it already."

Über Alles Collection (2003)

Download.
(Includes two EPs, the split with Total Fury but I posted that because the TF tracks are so damn good, an unreleased track, and some stuff from various comps.)
"This beer coaster contains all the basic requirements for your average jaded late-twenty-something hardcore listener: lame uncollectible CD format, blocked-out artwork, and plenty of feedback-laden songs about how nothing in life has any point. To reach this nihilistic conclusion, it is recommended you first buy this release."

Das Oath (2004)

Download.

Hard to believe but there was a time before Dim Mak pumped out nothing but generic retard electro.

Mini LP (2006)

Download.

"Continuing on their welcomed path to oblivion, the band's sophomore release ejected a superbly produced attack in a gatefold with all the usual tastefulness you've come to love to hate. Expanding upon their range of influences only slightly, this record contains nine tracks full of barely-contained intensity targeted at every sap who think bands are worth admiring. Thanks to their own increasingly devious attempts to thwart any lingering fans, this record cost a fortune and is impossible to find in stores. 1,000 copies on clear vinyl. First 500 sleeves with UV gloss coating."

Das Oath (2006)

Download.

"Cut to an 11" format, this screeching opus trims the fat for a full bludgeoning without all the filler. With full-color fitted sleeves and separate removable inserts, you get 7 songs in 10 minutes--- just the perfect amount of time needed to kill your parents and throw out the rest of your shitty record collection. A one time pressing of 1,000 copies released in collaboration with the highly questionable COALITION RECORDS."

Das Oath/Ampere Split

Download.

Every single song on this split is a cover.

Veins - Veins CS

Download.

Veins are a hardcore band featuring some asshole named Mark McCoy who was in a bunch of shitty poser bands that were never as good as Orchid or Saetia. Also features some dude from some shitty band called Drunkdriver. Released by some label I've never heard of before called Youth Attack.

Scholastic Deth - Final Examiner

http://www.mediafire.com/?iqnztzxtkwd

Complete discography from defunct San Francisco Bay straight edge powerviolence band fueled by caffeine induced nerd rage. Think Descendents of extreme music.

What is speed metal; is it just like a bunch of idiots playing as fast as they can?

Spazz - Crush, Kill, Destroy

http://www.mediafire.com/?nzmf2m2zkyy

Classic powerviolence record providing important lessons on gang terminology and how to become a pimp. If you don't already have this WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?

Oct 8, 2009

Classics never go out of style.

Lost all of my music so from now until however long it takes me I'll mostly focus on posting stuff I need to replace. Let's start with the classics:

Assück - Misery Index

http://www.mediafire.com/?cwydvdrlxmd

Anarchist grindcore with death metal and powerviolence influence.

Siege - Drop Dead

http://www.mediafire.com/?h4jyyt5uan5

Hardcore punk laying down the foundation for powerviolence and grindcore and the most random saxophone solo ever.

Spazz - La Revancha

http://www.mediafire.com/?tztgvbjngir

A powerviolence band that isn't political? Yep, sarcastic, witty, smart, sludgy breakdowns, and a slew of weird samples.
