John Wiese & C. Spencer Yeh - Cincinnati
http://www.mediafire.com/?gxlvzwnzyay
John Wiese, an institution in the Los Angeles noise scene collaborating with Sunn O))) and Merzbow to name a few, and C. Spencer Yeh, distorted to hell electric violin mixed in with 100 metronome loops virtuoso also known as Burning Star Core, team up in an increasingly alien attitude to bring you sessions surgically isolated into specimens.

Wishnik Sing-A-Long Party
http://www.mediafire.com/?mkgji53regn
The Wishniks are those ugly troll dolls that were really popular in the '60s. Sounds like the Chipmunks except nightmare inducing.

Download
One of the best albums of the past decade. A shame they could never do anything as good as this.

Mrs. Miller - Mrs. Miller's Greatest Hits
http://www.mediafire.com/?gjnzmygtgtz
Imagine recording your grandmother doing karaoke of popular mid-century songs except she can't keep time, pitch, remember the lyrics, and occasionally bursts into bouts of laughter. Now imagine it done in an untrained opera vocal and you're starting to get an idea of what this record sounds like. Oh, I almost forgot to mention this sold over a quarter of a million records within three weeks of being released, and we wonder why the world is the way it is.

The Distraction - More Trouble At The V
http://www.mediafire.com/?hmnnjmltkyn
The Distraction were a band out of LA that went through three major phases: the first two no one gave a shit about until the last one where Darryl and Hot Rod Todd both from Le Shok fame joined. Officially, this is the only release they did with that line up but they played a ton of shows, which I still have flyers for and, and they put out a DVD that I sent payment for but the fucking dicks never sent me. Anyway, this sounds more like Le Shok than any of HRT's any other bands mostly because of the shitty keyboards. Awesome release, check it out, dance, go pay for an overpriced copy at your local record store but make sure it still has the 3-D glasses.

Le Shok - We Are Electrocution
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?aczn0dz4iko
This is the record that pretty much started it all way back in 2001, along with The Locust self-titled full length. 13 synth-punk dance tunes clocking in at something like maybe 11 minutes? Fuck Mika Miko, Abe Vigoda, No Age, all those bands that came and went at the Smell, the bands that thought it was cool to use French in their names, the assholes that wore white ties or all black and yellow and danced like idiots at all the Long Beach shows; all of them and pretty much everyone has ripped off this record of been influenced by it in one way or another. Fucking shame that despite all the notoriety and 7"s going for hundreds of dollars these guys are pretty much forgotten.

T-Cells - 10" EP
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?tkjjzmmy4zt
Here's an old one for the GSL/31G crowd... T-Cells was a two piece from Long Beach, CA featuring Hot Rod Todd and Darryl Lytch from LE SHOK. If you are not familiar with this band, please go download their album somewhere. Anyway, I'm not going to say this is a great release, or even that it's good but it's a completion piece/something to geek out over for nostalgic purposes if you were around for the scene at all.
