If you don't already own this record you either just woke up from a coma, returned from exile on a small island off the coast of Africa, or have bad taste in music. We Are the Romans is the essential metallic hardcore template followed by every band since its release. Actually, this is such a great album that I can only think of maybe three or four other records that have been released in the genre that are as good or better. Everything else has been riff stealing, MTV 2 featured, mall friendly bullshit.
