Hellraiser is one of the highly acclaimed Clive Barker horror movies out of the 80s which spawned a bunch of bad sequels. Admittedly, I don't remember anything about this movie because I ended up having sex halfway through it. Anyway, Coil was supposed to do the soundtrack for the film, but their music was rejected because it was too scary. The band went on to release it anyway as a stand alone EP in 1987.
