Flavor of the month band with a horrible name. A lot of people have been telling me to check this band out with much enthusiasm, which is understandable considering it's a European band on Southern Lord with Kurt Ballou production and Justin Bartlett artwork. I was expecting something really doomy and sludgy, but it's quite the opposite, which isn't bad but it just sounds like a watered down Trap Them (same label, same producer, same artist, coincidence?). Metallic hardcore with buzzsaw tone riffs and lots of blast beats. Don't get me wrong, it's a good (not great) record.
